LetsCompli is a landlord compliance management platform that helps UK landlords track property compliance certificates, manage properties, and receive automated reminders. The Service is provided as software-as-a-service (SaaS).

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use.

3.3 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use this Service.

4. Subscription and Payment

4.1 Free Trial

We offer a 7-day free trial. After the trial period, you must subscribe to continue using the Service.

4.2 Subscription Plans

We offer multiple subscription tiers (Starter, Pro, Business) with different features and property limits. Prices are available on our pricing page.

4.3 Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Payment will be charged to your payment method on file. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

4.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. You will be notified at least 30 days before any price increase. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the new price.

4.5 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Ensure all data you provide is accurate and up-to-date
  • Not share your account with others
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer or hack the Service

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, designs, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by LetsCompli and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

8. User Data

8.1 Your Data

You retain all rights to the property and compliance data you upload to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a license to use, store, and process this data to provide the Service.

8.2 Data Backup

While we perform regular backups, you are responsible for maintaining your own backup copies of important data.

9. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or emergencies with or without notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LetsCompli shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits or business opportunities
  • Data loss or corruption
  • Compliance failures or penalties
  • Legal proceedings or fines

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LetsCompli from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease, and we may delete your data after a reasonable notice period.

13. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes.

14. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services (Clerk, Stripe). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LetsCompli.
